What is Space Editor?

Space Editor is a totally free and easy-to-use Metaverse Space Editors. Space can be shared to Discover, or uploaded to the metaverse world of PlayerOne.

How to Create Space?

  • Go to PlayerOne website, click Create, then click on the top right hand corner [+] sign.

  • Enter the name of the Space and decide on the width and length, then click create.

  • After creating, click the edit button to start editing.

Editor Settings

This part will go through the most popular Editor windows and how to use them effectively.

1. Compenents

A list of all the components that have been produced is provided. To enter the specified state, click a component. When you pick a component, it is encircled by a blue border, and the relevant editing panel appears on the right side of the menu.

2. Share & Publish

  • Click "Share to Discover" to share your Space on Discover. The prettier your Space is, the higher you'll be ranked on recommendation.

  • Click "My Parcel" to upload or publish your Space to you owning Land(s). However, the Land size has to be similar to your designated Space.

3. Basic Brick Panels

  • PlayerOne provides five different themes of bricks (default, CryptoVoxels, Greece, Technology, MineCraft), more to come in the future.

  • Construction: Select a Brick, move it to a , move it to a suitable position and left click to place it.

  • Duplicate Bricks: Select a brick, align the mouse to the appropriate position in the scene, press the left mouse button (do not lift the mouse), then drag the mouse to the position where the construction ends, and then lift the mouse to perform batch construction.

  • Substitution: In the Brick Construction panel, select the style of the brick you want to replace, then click the Replace button, point the mouse to the brick you want to replace in the scene, and then left-click.

  • Delete: Click the delete button in the brick building panel, point the mouse to the brick to be deleted in the scene, left-click to delete, drag the mouse to delete in batches

4. Media Components

  • Which includes Voice, Pictures, Gifs, Video, 3D Texts. Click to select the component to be built, move the mouse to the appropriate position in the scene and left-click to confirm the construction.

  • After construction, the editing panel will appear on the right side, where you may add further information.

  • If you wish to edit the component again after you've finished altering it, align the crosshairs with it and click the right mouse button to enter editing mode again (or select it in the component list).

  • Each component has the following fundamental properties: name, location, scale, rotation, and whether or not it will clash with the attribute.

  • Sound component: you can customize the volume, loop playback, hide the player model, and enter the scene to play automatically.

  • Picture component: click redirect link, whether to tile, upload local pictures.

  • GIF component: you may upload Gifs

  • Video component: You can customize the URL of the video, video cover image, volume, loop playback, and automatic playback when entering the scene (note: the video source server must enable cross-domain)

  • 3D text component: you can customize the color of the text and the content displayed by the text.

5. NFT Component

  • Picture NFT component: you can customize URL, picture zoom. URL supports opensea and element NFT Platform.

  • Video NFT component: you can customize URL, picture zoom. URL supports opensea and element NFT Platform.

6. Special Components

  • Customize bricks: you can upload a picture of the cubes/bricks and the color.

  • Button: the button may be configured to trigger other components such as video playing, sound playback, and so on. To pick a list of triggerable components in the scene, use the Select Target drop-down button. During preview, click the button to activate the associated function.

  • Voxel component: Voxel component that supports megavoxel models and includes a built-in Voxel store with a huge number of Voxel models that may be used directly. The maximum size of a voxel file is 1MB, and the model size is 126126126. If a single Voxel exceeds the limit, split it up and sew it into the scene. To apply animation to Voxel, click Add Animation.

  • Trigger component: the trigger's primary function is separated into two categories, the first of which may trigger the function of other components when a character moves within the trigger range, such as playing Voxel animation, sound, video, and so on. When the character walks into the trigger range, the second will reset the character to the spawn position.

7. Exhibit components

  • After selecting a border, upload a picture for the effect.

8. Social components

  • Enter the URL of your social media handle, visitors will be redirected once click on the component.

9. BagPack

Select a Voxel or Building to use them in Space scene.

10. Space Setting

The general setting includes, floor stickers, direction of camera, game quality & etc.

A Change Space name

B Check Space size & whether to allow flight mode(default allow)

C Whether to allow voice & the adjustment of the volume

D Adjust screen rendering quality

E Language

F Switch Space mode

G Upload floor

H Camera direction of saving picutures

11. Save Button

There are no auto save currently. We strongly advise editors to save each edit to prevent losses.

12. Shorcuts

After selecting a component with the right click, use A to move B to copy C to delete.

13. Component Limits

Frequent use keys

  • Right Click - Activate editing mode

  • ESC - Exit editing mode

  • W S A D - Moving direction

  • F - Flight mode

  • SPACE - Jump or Fly higher

  • B - Construct brick

  • Delete or Backspace - delete bricks

  • H - Open help menu
